Having spent much of my youth studying music, I approach photographs musically- first carefully composing and then fine tuning each image in post-processing to enhance the song it sings. I utilize both lifestyle and fine art portraiture styles, so I can capture you in a way that feels organic yet refined. As such, the finished product of my sessions is like getting a new album from your favorite band; some photos are instant hits, chart toppers – the holiday card portrait Grandma loves best. Others are the more sensitive tunes you have to spend some time with before they ultimately become your favorites. They aren’t posed and perfect, but they’re real and perfectly you, in beautiful intimacy.
My husband and I moved to Santa Fe Hills in March of 2013, the week our son turned 1. I had also just found out I was pregnant with our baby girl. My husband has strong ties to San Marcos, having grown up here himself, and he, along with his parents and brothers, own the Cocina del Charro restaurant over on restaurant row. When shopping for our homes we just knew we wanted to live in Santa Fe Hills because of the wonderful sense of community, abundance of families with children, and good schools of course! We love to travel and invest a lot of resources into exploring the world, but it’s so so nice to come home to the best place on earth for our little family!
