WinCo Foods San Marcos announced their soft-opening date of Thursday, October 22 at 9:00am. The grand opening will be Sunday, November 1. The 91,500 square foot supermarket will be located at the San Marcos Creekside Marketplace, 555 Grand Avenue, next to Hobby Lobby.

The stores are traditionally sized WinCo Foods stores with Edmonds measuring approximately 87,000 square feet and San Marcos coming in at approximately 91,500 square feet. Each reflects a simple decor package that creates a solid, clean feel and keeps the focus on our products and great pricing.

Store Manager Dave Kamrath (Edmonds) comes to the store with years of retail experience, the last two with WinCo. Store Manager Kerrie Olson (San Marcos) has nearly 30 years of experience in the grocery industry, the last three plus years with WinCo.
Both managers and their teams are excited about their respective store openings and are particularly pleased with the quality and enthusiasm of the employees that were hired in each location.
