Shuckleberries Preschool is an in-home family childcare run by Kat Post in Santa Fe Hills, San Marcos. Kat has lived in and operated the preschool in Santa Fe Hills for over 10 years. She lives with her husband Steve and their 3 children, and they all love the strong sense of community in the neighborhood.
Shuckleberries Preschool is a licensed family child care (license # 376617462) which offers both part-time and full-time spots for children ages 18 months and up. It is perfect for a child’s first time in preschool with lots of fun art projects, pre-writing & reading games, pre-math and science activities, and learning through play. We go on monthly field trips and love to have BBQ’s and get-togethers with the families throughout the year. We have a low child to adult ratio, 1 adult for every 4 kids for most of the day. All staff is first-aid & CPR Certified, and fingerprinted for background checks. Shuckleberries is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, with different pick-up times available to accommodate different schedules.
