The San Diego County Taxpayers Association’s Education Foundation has released its 2015 School Bond Transparency Scorecard, which rates how well local school districts and their Independent Citizen Oversight Committees provide information to taxpayers on school-bond spending.

Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District, San Diego Community College District, San Marcos Unified School District and Sweetwater Union High School District all set the standard, scoring 24 out of a possible 25 points.

These four school districts had the most availability and accessibility of key information about their construction bond programs. They missed a perfect score because they did not list contact information for their bond programs on their schools’ website.
