Starting Sunday, 1/25/15, San Marcos Girls Scouts will begin selling their infamous cookies all around San Marcos. Each box is $5, so make sure to have cash-on-hand by your front door and if you’re lucky enough to spot Girls Scouts at the grocery store.

As part of your cookie transaction, you are welcome to donate a box to the US troops overseas (tax deductible) via Operation Thin Mint. Since 2002, Girl Scouts have sent nearly 2.5 million boxes of cookies and countless notes of support to deployed troops serving around the world, including Afghanistan, Iraq, Africa, Japan, Korea, and the Persian Gulf, Western Pacific and Indian Ocean.
