A new four-story hotel, three-story office building and a retail center will begin construction in San Marcos in early 2015. The development is located on a 19-acre plot of land at the SW corner of N. Twin Oaks Valley Rd and San Marcos Blvd. To offset the increase in traffic to the area, roughly 5,100 car trips/day, the city will use developer fees to pay for additional lanes and traffic signals.
